Age-Appropriate Online Design Code Act
Nebraska AADCEnacted by LB504 (2025) and expanded by LB838 (2026), this law requires large online services to give known minors protective, high-privacy defaults and tools to limit contact, engagement-driving design features, recommendations, purchases, time spent, and geolocation sharing. It restricts data collection, profiling, targeted advertising, and overnight and school-hour notifications for minors, and requires parental tools for children under 13.
