Texas Data Privacy and Security Act
TDPSATexas's comprehensive consumer privacy law. It gives Texas consumers rights to access, correct, delete, and port their personal data and to opt out of targeted advertising, sale, and significant profiling, and requires controllers to give privacy notices, get consent for sensitive data, and run data protection assessments. It has no revenue threshold; it applies to any covered business that is not an SBA-defined small business.
