Privacy Policy Analyzer
Check a privacy policy against the laws that govern it: the EU’s GDPR; the US federal COPPA (children), FERPA (schools), HIPAA (health care) and GLBA (finance); Utah’s Consumer Privacy Act, its notice-of-sale law and its genetic-privacy law; and other state laws including California’s CCPA/CPRA and CalOPPA, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas and Oregon, Washington’s health-data law, Illinois’ biometric law, Nevada, and the data-broker laws. It checks only what each law requires a privacy policy to say. Every rating quotes the policy’s own words, and each quote is checked against the text.
Analyses run on Gemini 3.8 Flash (Google), through a provider route that keeps no copy of the text and does not train on it. Up to 10 new analyses per visitor per day; results already in the dataset are free to open.

Research instrument, not legal advice. v2.2 checks only what a statute or regulation requires a privacy notice to say; practices a policy need not state are not scored, and a conditional requirement is not counted against a policy that is silent on it. Compliance also depends on practices a policy cannot show.
